The Art of Writing a Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Salah Awad Salman (Respected), the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the college organized a seminar titled “The Art of Writing a Curriculum Vitae (CV)” on Wednesday, 12/2/2025, in Al-Khwarizmi Hall. The seminar was delivered by the Head of the Department of Information Technology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Shakir Jasim.

The seminar included several topics related to how to prepare a CV, types of CVs, communication skills, and CV templates.

It also addressed types of job interviews and how to prepare for them before and after the interview, relying on interactive methods such as discussion, brainstorming, and role-playing as job applicants.

This seminar was held in recognition of the importance of the CV as a means of personal introduction, providing an overview of the writer to external institutions, which is particularly essential for job seekers.
