First: Department Administration

Department Director:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sobhi Abdul Ghafour

Qualification: PhD – University of Anbar

Job Description:
The Department Director is responsible for the overall supervision of all units and divisions, setting strategic plans, monitoring the implementation of scientific and innovative programs, and representing the department in official committees inside and outside the university.

Second: Specialized Divisions

1. Qualification and Employment Division

Division Description:
This division is responsible for preparing students and graduates for the labor market through training programs, skills development workshops, building communication bridges with public and private institutions, and following up employment opportunities.

Communication Unit

Unit Head:
Asst. Lecturer Ibtihal Ahmed Ismail

Qualification: Master’s Degree – University of Anbar
General Specialization: General History
Sub-specialization: Modern and Contemporary History

Unit Description:
This unit manages communication, media coordination, and public relations of the department, organizes internal and external communication, and highlights the department’s activities and achievements.

Training Unit

Unit Head:
Asst. Lecturer Surour Abdul Ghani Ahmed

Qualification: Master’s Degree – University of Anbar
General Specialization: Arabic Language
Sub-specialization: Linguistics

Unit Description:
This unit is responsible for designing and implementing training programs, workshops, and development courses that enhance the efficiency of students and staff and develop their scientific, linguistic, and professional skills.

Data Unit

Unit Description:
This unit is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing data related to the department’s activities, supporting decision-making, documenting achievements, and providing accurate databases that serve strategic and research plans.

2. Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division

Division Head:
Lect. Saad Ali Mahmoud

Qualification: Master’s Degree
General Specialization: Management and Economics
Sub-specialization: Strategic Management

Division Description:
This division works on incubating startup projects, providing a supportive environment for entrepreneurs, and linking innovative ideas with the necessary resources and expertise to ensure their success and sustainability.

3. Entrepreneurship Division

Division Head:
Dr. Sundus Abdul Razzaq Tarish

Qualification: PhD – University of Newcastle, Australia
General Specialization: Physics
Sub-specialization: Nanotechnology

Division Description:
This division is concerned with developing advanced entrepreneurial initiatives, supporting scientific projects with a technical dimension, and encouraging innovation in advanced fields.

4. Marketing Scientific Outputs Division

Division Head:
Prof. Dr. Saad Ibrahim Youssef

Qualification: PhD – Gaziantep University, Turkey
General Specialization: Agricultural Sciences
Sub-specialization: Food Technology (Grains)

Division Description:
This division specializes in marketing research, innovations, and scientific products, transforming research outputs into economic opportunities, and strengthening partnerships with the public and private sectors.

1. Smart park for technology, innovation and renewable energy Unit

Unit Head:

Unit Description:
This unit focuses on developing smart solutions and modern technologies in the fields of technology and renewable energy, supporting innovative projects, and applying the concepts of sustainability and artificial intelligence within the university environment and the local community.

2. Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Unit

Unit Description:
This unit aims to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among students and researchers, support creative ideas, transform them into applicable projects, and enhance entrepreneurial thinking and teamwork skills.
